WHY GO

Jesus last words needs to be our first priority, Mark 16:15-20
"15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.16 The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.17 These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;18 they will pick up snakes with their hands, and whatever poison they drink will not harm them; they will place their hands on the sick and they will be well.” 19 After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.20 They went out and proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs.]]"

We are one day away from our Uganda/Kenya Mission and this will be our 12th year ministering in the continent of Africa. One of the most frequent question to us is, "Why Africa?"

This question presupposes that we are in charge of our life and make our own decision. Many years ago we said like the Apostle Paul, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Gal.2:20)

Africa is the place the Lord has sent us to fulfill His will.

Mission Uganda/Kenya 2013

Well, in 2 days after a wait of 1 year and 8 months my wife and I are finally on our way back to Africa. Truly if it were not for the grace of God this mission would not have been possible and we give Him all  the praise and honor. We are also so grateful for our those that rally around the cause of the Cross of Jesus Christ and help us prayerfully, and financially to make this mission possible.

There are two things that are always needed if a vision is to come to pass, people and resources. Without either of these two a vision just stays as a dream that never is fulfilled. This is what God uses to have His will come to pass on this earth. So, once again thank you to all those that have help us fulfill the will of the Lord on this earth.

In these weeks to come I will try my best to update this blog with as much daily updates as possible, for we may be in a area that we can't get access to the internet. If you want to know details of what we plan to do there go to our website www.ehimglobal.com Consider this the first update of what is happening in the days leading up to the mission.

The US Embassy has put out a travel advisory for Americans traveling to Kenya due to possible terrorist attacks, and just this pass Wednesday the international airport in Kenya was in fire and the entire international terminal was burned down.

The good news is that international flights are now landing and by the time we get there which will be by Aug.14 hopefully they will be a bit more organized, so I'll let you know how it goes once we are there.

I will do my best to make an entry tomorrow somehow as we are still running around for last minute things for the mission.
